Radical Employees take on a different kind of race! - 15 October 2007

Radical IT Manager, Paul Dujon, and Championship Co-ordinator, Amanda Abbott, took part in a race of a different type yesterday - The Great Eastern Run (a 13.1 mile, half marathon)!

Bright sunshine and crowds of spectators lining the 13 mile route helped spur both Paul and Amanda onto new personal best times.  Paul knocked a whopping 11 minutes off his last year’s time and came home in 1 hour 40 minutes whilst Amanda took 7 minutes off her previous best and crossed the line after 2 hours and 1 minute.

Paul and Amanda would like to thank the many people who have helped them raise over £1,500 in sponsorship for the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, Neuroscience  Critical Care Unit, who looked after Paul’s Dad earlier this year.
