Radical North America’s Chris Hall & Larry Huang claimed 1st & 2nd place in the annual NASA Nationals held at the demanding Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

The event was held over 4 days with practice, qualifying and qualifying races determining the field for Sunday’s 40 minute national race. There was a diverse mixture of cars in the Super Unlimited class including monster 700HP IMSA Porsches, Corvettes etc. plus there were other sports racers including Stohr.

Chris (PR6 1300) & Larry (SR8 2.6) had some problems early on in the event which had them starting 5th & 11th respectively in the main race. By lap three Chris was in the lead and pulling away, but only after some daring moves that caught his rivals by surprise. Larry meantime used the power of his SR8 to make an excellent start which set up a huge battle for second which Larry skillfully claimed by race end.

The SR8 certainly created a lot of attention with its compact Powertec V8 and glorious sound while the PR6 showed off its incredible agility against cars with 400 plus more horse power. Both cars turned some heads and we will be back for the NASA Nationals in 2008 with even more Radicals at hand.
