Radical España - launch at Almeria - Feb 2008
Despite being held at Spain's driest circuit, the launch of Radical España started with an unexpected downpour. But the team at Radical's latest Iberian distributor were prepared with a fantastic presentation held in pit garages at the superb circuit at Almeria.

Proceedings got underway with Radical España's manager Manuel Trujillo. An introduction by ex-F1 driver Emilio De Villota was well received as was the an explanation of the new Radical Spain series by the Andalusian Federation President Vidal Castro.

Radical España's owners José Emilio Garcia and Carlos Rodriguez Escudero explained their plans for a new Radical-based corporate hospitality operation and Radical Iberian race series.

Seventy plus guests attended the launch with many of them experiencing a Radical SR3 first hand as fast laps were provided for all willing participants. A superb lunch was laid on and the sun finally made an appearance.

Radical co-founder Mick Hyde attended "I am very impressed by the professionalism of the presentation. José Emilio and Carlos are going to make a big success of this operation and will be a very important part of our European plans.

Twenty six cars on order, fifty days booked here at Almeria and year round sunshine! They even put on the rain shower this morning to make me feel at home!
