Radical destined for various destinations around the globe
Radical is undergoing a major expansion in Europe, the United States, China and Australia.

Europe
Hot on the heels of appointing a French Distributor in the summer, Radical has appointed a new outlet in Spain.

Based in Granada, Southern Spain Radical Espana is owned by two entrepreneurs Carlos Rodriguez-Escudero and José Emilio Garcia.

The first four Radical SR3 1500’s, of an order for twenty six cars, were delivered this week.  Radical Espana’s fleet will include six SR3 school cars which will run at fifty corporate days booked to run at the local circuit of Almeria.

Radical Espana has joined forces with Francisco Gallego of Radical Portugal to organise the Radical Iberian Cup which will run over six rounds in 2008 in both Portugal and Spain.  The first round will be at the Radical European Masters event at Barcelona, supporting the Le Mans Series.

United States
A new distributor has also been appointed this week in the United States.  Radical Houston in Texas, owned and operated by David Perkins, currently prepares and runs a large fleet of Spec Racer Fords.  Radicals are a natural step up from this thriving US spec series.  Due to outgrowing his current facility, and the expectation of siginificant growth due to his new affiliation with Radical, David is in the process of moving operations to a purpose-designed track-side premises at Motorsport Ranch, Houston.  David will receive his first demonstrator SR3 in January and,  once in his new premises will start planning a new Radical Cup USA South race series, to run alongside the hugely successful Radical Cup USA West and East series which currently run in the Southwest and Southeast of the US.

China
Radical have broken into the lucrative Chinese market by appointing top F3 team, Ping Tzuo Racing Spirit to be their representative in China.  With offices in Hong Kong and workshop at Zhuhai, Radical China’s Paul Ip will receive his first two SR3 demonstrators before Christmas ready for a media day in January.  Paul plans to develop a Radical series during 2008 within an existing popular Chinese Sportscars Series, with a view to organising a Radical only Series in 2009.

Australia
The first five cars for Radical’s new Australian distributor, Radical Australia are due to be shipped by boat in January.  The newly appointed distributor is headed up by successful business men Chris Medland & Byron Smith.  The operation already own five Radical SR3’s based in Sydney, which they use for high-end, corporate-entertainment.  The team is already well advanced in its plans to run a Radical Cup Australia Series for SR3’s and the new SR8, during 2008.

Radical co-founder, Mick Hyde comments, “We took the decision a couple of years ago to expand the Radical Brand globally.  We have a business model which works exceptionally well.  Our SR3, SR5 and SR8 models are not only highly successful racers but, because a large driver and passenger fit comfortably in the car, the cars are ideal for schools, corporate days, training and trackdays.  The days of the highly focused one championship car are numbered.  They are limited in use and unlike Radicals, suffer huge depreciation.

We are still interested in appointing more distributors, with Denmark, Holland, Mexico Canada, Malaysia, Angola and some northern States in America currently on our radar
.”
